Nicky's Misadventures in Time Management

Christmas is a state of mind, right? So, let's just pretend dates don't matter and it's ok if you got our Christmas card a little "late". I put off finishing Christmas cards, and as murphy's law dictates we've had all kinds of catastrophies the week before Christmas. The biggest being the flu. First Paige was struck on our trip to IKEA in Atlanta. (We were getting stuff for our new Mantis office, by the way Travis decided IKEA is swedish for nightmare (or something like that...)) While cruising the massive showroom, Paige sat slumped in the cart, face beet red. Poor thing. Five hours later, we left with our stuff. Then Monday, Cole woke up coughing like a seal and also feverish. This week was going to be a mess. Not only is Christmas here, but we're moving into a new office Jan 2nd and it's my job to meet the electricians and painters for everything. Well, then Travis got sick on Tuesday. So, now half are sick and half are healthy. I had to drag sick kids into the van and meet the electricians while it was 40 outside. And so on and so forth. Needless to say, I haven't got all my Christmasy stuff done. Yikes!! So, if your card comes late I'm sorry! Merry Christmas :)
