Clean Sweep of the Garage

Travis just finished the garage. Wheeeew!!??&*&^&^! That was a job. We took everything out and he pressure washed EVERYTHING. Wow, I'm very proud of his work. He spent TWO days on the thing. We were originally planning on leaving today to go to Beaufort to stay at the beach, but that will have to wait until tomorrow. The worst part about the garage, was it was in the 90's-100's, so he is wiped out. I felt like a slacker, because Grace has been sick with a double ear infection. After 2 rounds of antibiotics, she's had to go to the Doc the last 3 days to get super-duper antibiotic shots. GOOD TIMES!! So, I couldn't help that much, other than pulling everything out and organizing a few boxes. Poor Grace couldn't stand the hot weather with her fever. He's got it sooooo clean and organized, it's like the rest of the house.

Hey, since Trav is so experienced maybe he can come help my neat freak of a husband in our garage. The builder didn't completely sheet rock, so Rick just finished that. Then he did the mud work, now he is sanding, will do mud work again, before sanding once more, then PAINTING the blasted thing! His garage will be nicer then the house! Hope your sweet baby girl feels better. Ear troubles alot? Does she have allergies? Lindsay had two sets of tubes before we realized she has allergies!

I'm so jealous of a clean garage. I would really like to park the van in ours because it has been sooo hot. I love reading your blog--I check it quite often. On one of our trips to see Cara, (Michael's sister lives in Monroe) we are going to have to stop by for a visit. It's been way too long:) Sorry about little Grace. Brody has thrush and is cutting his top teeth. The garage and the rest of the house will just have to wait because my baby needs to be held. Thank goodness for great husbands who know how to work hard!

Sounds awesome! I would just love a garage! Our garage is the tiny street parking right in front of our house. Pretty manageable!
