Our house smells so good!

Everything is so pretty and Christmasy! I figure since it takes about a week to get everything up, it makes sense to get it up at the beginning of December. That way, when December is ending and my tree is dried up, I won't mind having to put it all away. It's always funny to open my Christmas boxes and see the state of things. Last Christmas I sort of just threw ornaments and lights and random things in the same boxes. It must of been between holding Grace and driving the kids somewhere. Also, last summer we put a bunch of stuff up in the attic. It was a hot southern day and I was handing stuff to Travis while he found a spot for it. So, this year it took me about an hour to find everything. Note to self: buy some red/green Christmas boxes.

Anyhow, we had fun decorating the tree. The highlight was the kids individual ornament boxes. They were so excited to see their special things. The only drama was when Paige's glass angel ornament got "wonderwomaned" by Grace (just picture how she juiced those oranges). Paige was devestated, but we assured her that we can get another at Target. All and all the ornaments all came out unscathed, whether from my poor packing or Grace's manhandling.

P.S. We just read the Grinch who Stole Christmas, so Cole was posing as guess who??
