We had snow yesterday!! Yay! It had been predicted and all the Moms were wondering if it was really going to happen. 5am we got a call from the school district, no school. The kids flew downstairs and out the front door in their pjs. Snow!! SNOW!! I was so tired, but knew I had to get everyone dressed. As I was getting all their clothes together I was wondering how many individual pieces of clothing it would take to dress them all. I guessed 20? 30? So I counted...44 things! No, 47 including hats. This doesn't count Graces clothes or mine. No wonder why my washing machine is always on. I don't know how you moms in Utah do it! I would hate this everyday! Anyways, enough complaining, it was fun. But honestly, I had enough snow my 4 years at BYU.
It was kind of funny seeing who would last in the wet slush the longest. Lily went out and within 3 minutes fell on her butt. She was done. "Don't you want to put some dry pants and go back out?" "No, it's too cold, let's have hot chocolate!" My kinda girl. :) Then Cole put a wet snowball down Paige's back. She was done and none too happy about it. Cole went in and out the rest of the day. Sometimes with a coat, sometimes with just a t-shirt and no shoes. I wished Travis was here to see it! Today it's all gone. Little piles are still in the woods, in the spots the sun doesn't hit. We may get more tomorrow...better go find their boots.
