First a recap of last year: (I went a little crazy)
My measurable goals for 2007...
Goal: (Spiritual) Read scriptures (1 ch.) daily 6:30 AM with familyActual: Did this very inconsistantly until November & December
Goal: (Emotional) Friday night date night EVERY week/also our cheat meal
Actual: We did this pretty well, but probably 3 out of 4 Fridays
Goal: (Momming) One on One activity with each kid once a month
Actual: Did not do this goal...I'm feel very guilty :(
Goal: (Physical) dedicate 2-2.5 hrs daily to fitness (depending on workout)
Actual: Did this well up until April, was off & on all summer, Sept-December was pathetic
Goal: (Talents) Take a figure drawing class
Actual: Did this one!
Goal: (Intellectual) Read 30 mins nightly
Actual: Did this and loved it!
Goal: (Social) Set up a monthly girls night out w/ neighbors and friends
Actual: we didn't do this every month, but did develop some awesome friendships last year
So here's my thoughts for '08, kinda different from last year. More like final goals, a few from my "30 in my 30's" list:
- Run a Half-Marathon (fall)
- Invent my cool little tool (current - summer)
- Interview Grandma W (spring)
- Learn to sew curtains (summer project)
- October in Williamsburg (fall)
- Church History finish volume 1 (current - end of year)

Williamsburg in October? As in Williamsburg, Virginia??!!! If that is the case we've got to get together since Williamsburg is right around the corner from Richmond!
Wow, that goal from last year, 2-
2 1/2 hours a day of exercise is pretty hard core. With 4 kids, I don't know how you did it even for 4 months! Way to go. Have you decided which 1/2 marathon you are doing? Good luck with '08 goals.
Good luck on your Goals. We all need to work on the girls night. We so deserve a night off every now and then.
I wish you still lived here, because I made some curtains (well a valance) actually for Wesley's room a year or so ago and it turned out super cute. If you were here I could help you make one and it would motivate me to do one for the bathroom (something I've been putting off forever). Your goals are intense! I can't believe you were able to exercise that much. I'm lucky if I get that much in week!
You go girl with all those goals!! Now I really want to know what Travis' are!!!
So i'm a little late but good luck to a great 2008!
