I just made my last payment on our minivan. Woohoo!! I know...don't be jealous. You wish you could float around town in my seafoam green grocery gettin machine. She's a beaut! And, now I don't have to be reminded monthly, that I actually bought such an ugly car. Let's see how long I can resist the urge to upgrade. My bet is I can last at least a year. (picture disclaimer: that's actually not my car, mine's a little more seafoamy and not so shiny :) But you can get the general sweetness of my ride from this photo...I told you not to hate.)

Sorry to just drop in on your blog....but CONGRATS on your last payment..I only wish mine was paid for...who would have thought that I would be a minivan mama...Just wanted you to know that I love your blogs.
It's heaven not having a car payment every month! Seafoam or not you have extra spending $$ every month!
I lasted about a year and a half with ours paid off till I was needing an upgrade, only because we were spending the equivalent of a payment every month on repairs, and it was unpredictable, so the van had to go. But I loved my time with it,(7 years!!) vans are great!!
More money for more shopping! I never really pictured you guys as minivan folk. Congrats. on the payoff. That is awesome.

Way to go Nichole! I love having no car payment...but holding on to the old, resisting the new is SO hard! There are so many pretty cars out there! I told Philip I'd get a new one once I had another kid or mine got totalled some how. So far - no luck. We'll stick with our old beaut too! :) Way to go you guys...
