Double-booked

Friday night we had our first scheduling problem with the kids activities. Paige had a cheer program and Lily & Grace had their Christmas program. Both at 7pm. What to do?? Travis and I had to tag team, which was good that way the girls could do both things, but bad because we only have one camera. We decided to take pictures of the Christmas program, since that's once a year. We'll post photos of Paige's cheer in January. Travis said her team was awesome! Way to go Paige! He said before she came on stage, there were 4 or 5 classes of 4 years old. Kind of just stumbling and bumbling around the stage. Then Paige's team came out and rocked the house with their routine. (I wish you could see Travis telling this to Paige, he was imitating their cheer with "boom, boom, boom" sound effects, sooooo funny!) At the end, Paige came up front to hold a teammate on her shoulders.
The Christmas program was very sweet. Lily was a reindeer, as you can see. She was kind of shy on stage, which surprised me. You never know what to expect at a preschool program. Some kid was picking his nose, some were crying, Lily kept looking up at the stained glass windows. Seeing them up there, you realize how little and sweet they are. I cried several times during night.
All in all, we survived the crazy night and got everybody where they needed to be, with all the right clothing/accessories. So, all went well!
