Overcoming Ugliness

Just a quick thought. I've been a little perturbed lately with somethings I've been reading relating to the presidential campaign and "Mormons". Like comments left on YouTube after some of Romney's clips. I want to rip some of these people a new one. I can't stand bigotry and ugliness. But, this morning I was reading the visiting teaching message for December. It's about charity. The first thing I read was from an old Ensign article and it was exactly what I needed to hear this morning: "Those who are filled with the love of Christ do not seek to force others to do better; they inspire others to do better, indeed inspire them to the pursuit of God. We need to extend the hand of friendship. We need to be kinder, more gentle, more forgiving, and slower to anger." (A More Excellent Way, Ensign May 1992)

Hi Nicole,
I am so glad we have reconnected. I love reading friend's blogs. Great way to keep up on everyone. Matt has been trying to find Travis for a while now. You guys all look great and seemed to be doing well. I'm happy for you. I noticed you had our blog link on your list. I think it might be wrong. When I click on it, it goes to the wrong place. Try www.thebairdbunch.blogspot.com
Cute kid's names! How funny!

This is like a good old fashion reunion. Tell Travis I sent him an e-mail. We didn't mean to do the blogsnub. We didn't see your comment from a couple of weeks ago.

Hope all is well with you guys.
