We're huge Mitt fans. We've been following him since he took over the Olympics in SLC. The man is amazing. He turned the Olympics around, and we have a friend of a friend that worked with him, and was always so impressed with the way he ran things. In his career, he would essentially meet with flailing companies and layout a strategy to turn them around. Sounds like skills that could be put to good use in Washington. So, when the rumors were swirling last Christmas, that he might make a run for the Rep. nomination, we started getting excited.
We followed him closely in the initial debates. He was almost too perfect. Then as the year went by, I was worried people weren't going to see past the "mormon" issue. Every article or interview talked about his religion. About a month ago I started wondering if he was going to be a viable candidate. Then, last week, he gave his speech. Hello! I was sitting up in my seat watching the whole thing on YouTube. Then I read it over. Wow! I don't care how you slice it, that was an amazing speech. He spoke about the principles America was founded on, and that a candidate's faith was not a reason to qualify or disqualify them. America is about freedom and tolerance. One of my favorite lines was: "we do not insist on a single strain of religion – rather, we welcome our nation's symphony of faith." This was a speech that Mitt wrote himself and came from the heart.
This week the National Review has endorsed him. Here's the editors comments about their
endorsement.
Go Mitt!

Go Mitt!! I am really excited about him! I was also on the edge of my seat while I was watching his speach on TV. After he was done I wanted to give him a standin ovation in my living room! I really hope he gets the nomination.
